Super Bowl Victory

It’s almost time for the Super Bowl, when fans around the world gather with friends and pizza and chips and dip to watch one of the greatest spectacles in sports. Two of the biggest fans that day will be the owners of the two teams, leaders who took big risks, investing much of their lives to try and achieve the dream of holding the Super Bowl Trophy with the people they invited to be on their team.

Do you ever wonder if life offers a winning team? No matter how hard we try, sometimes life feels more we got stuck on a losing team, and it’s easy to wonder if we will ever get to taste victory.

One Owner invested everything to put together a winning team and He ensured the team’s victory with His own life, His own death and His own victory over death. The victory was so decisive that one team member wrote, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” No matter what disappointments, failures or losses you have faced, God has said that He wants you on His team. We face trouble in this life, but this Owner has paid the price to ensure that no matter what you face, you will come through on the winning team. These are “Encounters with Hope.”
